I want to set up a sheet of labels with a different name on each label-how do I set that up?

You want to do a mail merge. You should check out

If you just want to type in the table cells the address you want, click the
"Tools" menu and open the "Envelopes and Labels" dialog box. Click the
Labels" TAB and select the label type you want to have. Click the "New
Document" button and you will get a full page of a table with the desired
cells to type your addresses in. If you don't see the table gridlines,
click "Table" and click the "Show gridlines" command.
