Multiple Languages of Office for Mac

Processor: Intel

My wife is thinking of purchasing a new Macbook Pro on her next trip to Taiwan. We currently have an iMac with the English version of Office for Mac.

As she is a Chinese Councillor and Recruiting Officer for an International Language School in Australia, she needs the ability to type documents in either English or Chinese Manadarin (not within the same document).

Is she able to install the English version and also a Chinese Manadarin version on the same computer? Would there be any conflicts?

I understand that depending in which country you purchase Office for Mac, that will be the only language available to you. Snow Leopard on the otherhand, has 18 languages to choose from.

Thanks for your assistance.

If you want the user interface to be respectively in English or German,
I don't see any good way to do so.
You could try a few things but I can easily foresee massive headaches
maintaining the setup.

For the documents themselves, it shouldn't be an issue. You should be
able to specify the language in each account and get the proper proofing
tools to kick in when needed.
You could even create a default template in each account to
automatically get new documents to be in the language you need.

Well that's going to be hell to update for instance. I don't know what
would happen for the shared tools either.
Most of Office is in /Applications and you *could* move it to
~/Applications.
You also have a lot of little things in /Library and you can't move them
(well..... I wouldn't).

Updating is going to be a nightmare. The shared tools will also be in
the last language you installed.

Really a complicated experience.
