Multiple same message

I receive multiple (3 or more) copies of the same e-mail message in
entourage. I use IMAP from a groupwise server. My PC based IT staff can't
help.

I'm having the same problem. I can only get the "real"
message to delete, and I'm sometimes getting as many as
five duplicate messages. If anyone has any advice on this,
I would appreciate it. I've got a tech coming in the
morning, but he's not optimistic about his knowledge
having never seen the problem. I've seen several postings
about this today, but I've seen no solutions posted with
them.

The duplicate message problem can be solved by using "Remove Office"
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/glossary/remove_office.html>. This will
remove all your preferences in ~/Library but not your mail.

If you continue to have problems, try running the Database Utility. Hold
down the Option key and re-launch the application. In a few seconds, you'll
be greeted with the new Entourage 2004 Database Utility. More info:
