MWord emails never reach destination...why not?

I fill in the email form correctly with appropriate data and click <send
copy>, but the email does not reach its destination, even though I send it to
myself. Where does it go?

I use Windows XP professional

So you use Windows XP Pro, but what about the important information? What
version of Office are you using and do you have an email account? How are
you connecting to the Internet? Are you using Outlook as your default email
client?

Where it goes, first and foremost, is to the Outbox of the mail client you
have selected as the Windows default. Unless you send it from there, it
doesn't go anywhere further.
