Kristi,
Although Excel does have the graphic capability to replicate Gantt Bars,
doing so is not straightforward and probably not necessary. There are
several approaches for sharing Project information with someone who does
not have Project on their workstation.
First, you can save a Project file as a web page (File/Save As).
Second, you can copy and paste a Project file as a graphic image to
another application (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.). To do that go to Edit/Copy
Picture.
Third, you could use an export map to export the Project data (not the
graphic data) to Excel. For that go to File/Save As and save as an Excel
Workbook.
