My computer locks up in Power Point about the 3rd or 4th page.

I'm a new user of Power Point so I'm learning. On about the 3rd or 4th page,
my computer locks up. Is that a sign I don't have enough memory or what?

Tricky question. Could be a RAM (computer memory) issue, could be a video
display driver or video RAM issue... How big is the presentation you are
using. Does it have multimedia (sound or movie)? Can you play other,
smaller, presentations okay?

You should also check that the latest version of PPT is running (eg. all
service packs installed).

How can i download microsoft powerpoint for use in microsoft works?

i need to do some presentations, but cannot open and edit a draft powerpoint
presentation on my computor even though it has works. When i down load the
attachment sent to me, it does not recognise any work program i can use to
edit.
On the powerpoint thing, i can only download powerpoint viewer, this doesnt

PowerPoint doesn't come with Works. It is part of Microsoft Office. You must
pay for it separately. For some options, check out this entry from the PPT
FAQ:
Where can I download a copy of PowerPoint?
