My cost versus billable cost

Can I differentiate my cost (salary plus overhead) vs what I charge a client
(resource cost). The intent is after I create a project and price it, I can
then look at potential profit (or actual profit when I'm done).

Byron,
Yes, but keep in mind that Project is not an accounting program. If you
want some basic cost information, you can use spare cost fields with
appropriate formulas to price out your cost and to calculate profit. Be
advised that when spare fields are customized with formulas, the formula
will calculate for ALL task rows. There are ways to work around that if
it becomes necessary to only include certain tasks in the price
calculation or if different markup is used depending on the task.
