my email in outlook stopped working

A few days ago my email in outlook stopped working. At the same time my
computer had the blue screen and then said my hard drive could not be found.
Turning off/on my computer fixed the problem but not with outlook. I did a
detect/repair under help and it said a file was missing I tried putting in my
install cds but it did not work so I removed office (2003) and reinstalled
it. I have tried deleting my email setups and reentering them. Nothing has
worked. I compared the settings to my desktop which is working fine and cant
find any differences. Can you help me figure out where to go from here.
thanks

I think you are having computer problems, not Outlook problems. It sounds
like your hard drive could be failing or your windows system files are
damaged. Run a disk check with the Repair option-- CHKDSK /R and reboot to
let it run. If the hard drive is OK or able to be fixed by chkdsk, run a
repair on the operating system to replace missing system files by booting to
your windows disk and choosing Repair.
