Having to reformat and reinstall my microsoft office shortcut bar has
vanished. Not in programs under office tools. Where else can I look?

Did you install it?
Run set-up again and check.

It wasn't on the install disk, which is its own mystery. So, I have no
recollection of where it came from.

Doesn't anyone bother to SEARCH?! You're using Office 2003, it doesn't
exist.

Miss Tick,
Please read carefully before responding as the op did not mention what
version of office the sb was needed for.

Sheldon,
Reinstallation should fix the shortcut bar dilemma. . Do a custom install
and make sure it is enabled during the reinstall.

The OP stated that it WASN'T on the install CD, would that explain it?

Bob I,

Sheldon the OP stated: "Having to reformat and reinstall my microsoft
office shortcut bar has
vanished. Not in programs under office tools. Where else can I look?"

The OP did not give enough info. Version of Office and the operatiing
system would have been the bare minimum. Unless it is Office 2003 or 95 or
versions before that or a homemade cd, it is on the cd.
