my outlook runs very slowly

I have just reinstalled windows xp and office xp. Now my
outlook runs very slowly. It takes ages to open an email
and scroll through them. Do anyone have any idea what I
can do. Have already tried to repair outlook but didn't
work!

Try turning off the "Instant Messaging"

Open the TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS...
Select the OTHER tab

Turn off the check mark next to "Enable Instant Messaging
on Microsoft Outlook"
