my outlook stopped working all of a sudden. Is it Norton?

All of a sudden my Microsoft Outlook cannot send or receive emails anymore. I
have not changed anything at all. Could it be caused by a virus or Norton
itself? I have uninstalled and re-installed Office, but still the same
problem.

Have you tried turning off Norton's mail features and seeing what happens?

Dear Vince, I tried it bu nothing changed. When I start my Microsoft Outlook
it starts sending/receiving mails but and after a couple of minuted it says
"that it got a reply from the server but maybe the SSL is not correct.
Everything started when I wanted to write an email as always and it told me
that the Word editor was not correctly instaled or available. In fact, If I
go to open word, it tells me it will open in temporary mode. Don't really
know what to do.

Exact problem. I've tried everything. I'm ready to pull my hair out. I'm
surprised there are not more people effected by this.
