Name Badges-8 Seperate Names per sheet

I have already read the other questions regarding Name Badges and mail
merges, and appear to be having a similar problem. I have performed a mail
merge, and I have selected the Avery 5383 name badges, but I also am only
able to get one name per sheet of 8 tags (same name 8 times). I have 55
seperate sheets, from my mail merge, but cannot find how to combine 8 of the
sheets (or peoples names) per one sheet of name badges.

When you do a merge, only one badge should be on your screen. These series of

My problem is not with the merge. I read another response that said that when
the label is designed, it has to be designed as a new blank page, set the
page custom size to your badge size (2 1/6 x 3 1/2) measure the margins, and
print multiple sheets per page. That seems a bit limiting, especially if you
don'k know how to put the measurements into decimal points. I was not able to
get the page in custom design to line up correctly. Aslo, if the badge has
already been designed with many layers and graphics, how do you get all of
that transferred into the new document?

If you have already created the look you want, copy and paste the design to the
label. There is no need to do a separate publication; you can design your badge on
the merge setup.. Are you using a label template in page setup? What number does it
show on your package of labels? There is probably an equivalent in page setup, 5390
has 8 badges (name tags) with the dimensions 3.5 x 2.167.

Open your calculator, divide 1 by 6. This will give you your decimal equivalent. The
/ is the divide symbol.
