Hello,

I am attempting to create sheets of name tags (Avery 5095) for my high
school reunion.
I want to add JPEGS (scaled down yearbook scans) and a different name to
each tag, how do I do this, I am stumped?

Thanks, Ralph

What version Publisher?
Are all your pictures in the database sorted to match the names?
Setup up your page for the label. Open the catalog and merge wizard, follow the
steps. In step 3 (Publisher 2003) expand the drop down, insert as a picture. The
picture will be inline, right-click, format picture, layout, change the inline
to exact and adjust the picture's position.

It might be better for you to do this manually.
Page setup:

Top and bottom margin: .58
Side margins: .69
Grid Guides: 2 columns, .38 Horizontal Spacing
4 Rows, .17 Vertical spacing ( You may have to check the
"Add center guide between columns and rows" before Publisher will let you type
..17). You can uncheck the box after you type .17.

Publisher 2002 didn't have the option to merge pictures. I hope you don't have a
lot of entries.
You will have to setup your page differently than what I wrote before. Those
measurements work for 2003 and 2007.

For 2002:

Arrange menu, left and right margins, .69
Top and bottom margins .58

2 columns, 4 rows.

Create a rectangle, .38 height, 7.12 width. Position this rectangle between the
rows, pull guides down to mark the space, do this for each row.

Create a rectangle 9.74 height, .17 width. Position this rectangle between the
columns, use guides to mark the space.

Delete the rectangles once you have positioned the guides.

Thank you Mary,

Doing a test just now and it seems like that will work for me just fine.
Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately I will have a lot of Inserting Pictures
to do but that's ok...
