I have ten chapters of my agency's policy and procedure manual. All were pre-existing (I didn't create them) and all were written in Word. Each has its own separate hyperlinked table of contents. I have created a master document, containing all the chapters, and connecting all the bookmarks to one master table of contents. Problem: navigation is sloppy and only one way. Click the link in the contents, and to get the bookmarked material, sure; but what if you want to go back to the table of contents? Viewing the Web tool bar only helps for one step back
There has to be a cleaner way to navigate back and forth through a large Word document. Any suggestions?
