NEED HELP ASAP WITH MAKING DIAGRAM BOXES BIGGER

I am trying to drag the diagram boxes to make them bigger to fit all of my
text in them but they will not let me. Can someone please help?

Are we talking about an Org Chart here? What version of PowerPoint do you have?

I am trying to create one of the radial diagrams with the spokes leading to
other things. I have PP that is in Microsoft office XP.

Click on Layout on the Diagram toolbar and then click on AutoLayout to deselect
it.

You need to select each circle so that you see 8 "handles" on the object. Hold
down shift and drag within the diagram area it to enlarge it. You may need to
enlarge the diagram "area" so that you have enough room, Do that by dragging
the handles on the outside border of the diagram.

I have powerpoint 2000 and this doesn't work for me.... any other ideas?

PPT 2000 has a very different Org Chart tool, and in fact, it doesn't have
that radial diagram thing.

How did you draw your radial diagram?

Or are you talking about an organization chart?

When I type in a PPT 2000 Org Chart here, the box expands automatically. It
doesn't do that for you?

Or do you need more than 4 lines?

What I mean is when I try to print it or view it the org chart the org chart
is so small on the paper and the screen that it is illegable..... It doesn't
automatically expand the whole screen......

I appreciate your help on this...

Hm. If you drag the corner of the bounding box on the Org Chart, it should
expand the size. It does here. I don't believe it will auto-expand to fill
the slide, though.

If that doesn't work, try ungrouping the chart and then selecting and
grouping all the individual pieces. Then drag the corner of the bounding box
for the entire group and see if you can resize that way. (Maybe do this on a
copy of the slide so you don't screw up your original.)

Also, you can right-click the org chart, select Format/Object, and change
the size on the size tab. That might actually be the easiest way to resize
the thing.

You know, when I read your question below, it sounds almost as if the Org
Chart has been inserted as a link/icon and it doesn't fully expand when you
double-click it. Is that the case?
