Help. I've been messing with this for too long.
I use newsgroups a lot, and I know that this is where a lot of experts
hang. Unfortunately, Access is not my expertise.
I am looking for a person/company that can write a complex report.
Ideally, the report would be based on ~40 related tables/queries and a
Word template (so that I can simply make changes to the template when
needed). The db contains customer documentation (text/memo),
including Visio diagrams and logos. Essentially, there is a main
customer ID/name that is listed in various other tables (network info,
firewall, servers, PCs, etc.) I would also like the page numbers in
the table of contents to be updated automatically.
I would prefer to be able to enter the db, select a customer, select a
complete report or a section, and then display it for review or to be
printed. An email as PDF feature would be neat too, but definitely
not required.
This seems difficult to me, as I'm more of a network admin than dba/
programmer. If you have experience with this type of project, please
respond with your info, a short description of your past Access/report
work, how you would attempt to complete this project, and an estimate
or rates.
