Need help producing project plan as a list to display on a web pag

I was asked to take my project plan and show only the executable tasks in
chronological order. The kicker here is that I need to be able to get the
Task ID, Task Name, Duration, custom text fields, etc. into an Excel or Word
format so this can be listed on our SharePoint site.

There is a group that would like to keep that page open and only have to
refresh it to see where the current project status is for an implementation
project that is to occur over a 7 day period.

I need lots of help on this, because I can print a report that has exactly
what I want, but I can't get the data into an Excel or Word format.

Then the other way is to do a "Save As" for the Excel format, but it brings
over the summary tasks. I don't want to have to go through the workbook and
strip out all of the summary tasks because the detailed executable tasks are
not all at the same level in the project plan.

Not sure that I understand your problem, but if you include the summary field
in your export to excel you can easily filter out the summary lines, delete
them without accidently deleting any task lines.

Thanks for your reply.

However, I didn't receive a response in time yesterday so I inserted a text
column and flagged those fields.

Exported to Excel and then deleted them. Everything works alright for me now.

A lot of extra steps and time consuming, but it's done.

Thanks again.
