Need help quick! Cannot upload to web server

After a hard drive crash I installed Office 2000 on a new
computer. I upgraded to FP2003. I am able to import
from our present web site, but I cannot upload. When I
attempt to upload, FP automatically adds our web site to
the user name. How can I correct this? No matter what I
do I cannot clear this information. Even typing over it
does not work as FP adds our web site address to the user
name.

Does Front Page have to be on the C: drive? Can it be on
a different drive?

Please explain what you mean by "adds our web site to the
user name".

Also, are you publishing by FTP?

Thanks for your reply.

I am using FP2003. When I select the publish site, a
window opens. Our host has server extensions installed,
so I opt for the first option in the window and type in
the address.

The username and password window opens. When I type in
my user name, FP adds our web site. For example it
should be:

Username: my_username
Password: my_password

However, after I enter that information and click to
upload, the username window reopens and the following is
displayed:

Username: www.jills-santas.com/my_user_name
Password: my_password

The www.jills-santas.com is not part of my username.

I can import from our web, but FP is not letting me
publish. I have no idea what to check next.

Thanks,

It looks to me like someone at your host has
misconfigured the default domain name for your virtual
server. Contact them for assistance.

I'll do that, thank you. By the way, where would I find
the cache files for Front Page?
