i tried to sync my contacts in outlook 2003 with my ipod nano, the
only contacts that downloaded were the ones that had email addresses,
which by coincidence are the ones that show under contacts in the
address book, how can i get a complete list?

What sync tool did you use? It's probably just syncing the Outlook Address
Book rather than the Contacts folder.

itunes ver 6 is the sync software, and yes it is only syncing the
address book from outlook as i observed, is there a way to put my
entire contact list into the address book?

I guess you could enter bogus e-mail addresses for those that don't have
them. For example:

(e-mail address removed)

For each one.

new problem, when i try to sync the calendar, the itune pop up says it
is unable to copy calendars to the ipod. documentation says it should
be a direct transfer from outlook to the ipod, any thoughts?

Have you checked the Help documentation for your iPod synch software?

yes i read the documentation, they say the sync is direct but it
doesn't work for me, i found an article on how to export the outlook
calendar events into the ipod, i will experiment with it.

Not off-hand. I've never used the iPod sync software so I'm not really sure
of the specifics of how it works. Sorry. :(
