need help with intallation of office professional edition 2003

I have no problem when I install the Office 2000 Professional, but when I try
to
install the Office professional 2003 edition (the upgrade discs), I get the
following
message: "Windows cannot read from disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it
could
be using a format that is not complete."

The discs, which I recently just bought look in perfect condition. I have
the XP Home edition operating system.

Problem: I unable to install the Office 2003.

Has anyone come accross a similar problem? If so, what did you do to install
Office 2003?
