Need to get rid of line!

I used "Shift" and "underline" to create a line division between 2 parts of a
paper. I now want to get rid of the line but it appears to be a permanent
fixture. Any one know how to get rid of this line?
Thanks

Thank you very much - I clicked in the text above the line, went to borders
and shading, and clicked "none" - the line disappeared!
