New Document from Start Menu

I have just done a new installation of Office 2003 on my new computer. On my
old computer I could open a new document or open a old document right from
my start menu, can anyone tell me how to get that on my new installation. I
am running Win XP Pro.

The option is not a default install. Run Setup and install from Office
Shared Features folder.
