New email msg problem... PLS HELP!!!

Hey guys, wondering if you could help me with this.
When i want to compose a new e-mail msg, instead of showing up as a normal
e-mail window, HTML tags automatically appear in the window. This appears in
the window where you type your messages to the desired recipient. I'm
wondering is there any way to disable this? Please help, I'm a beginner in
Outlook. Thanks peeps...

Is the version of Word the same as the version of Outlook (eg: Outlook 2000
with Word 2000, etc.)? What happens if you don't use Word as your email
editor and set your mail format as HTML (tools, options, mail format)?
