new email notification problem

I installed Outlook2003, but I have a problem.

It notifies me only if a new öail comes to my INBOX.

If a mail comes to other folders (due to the rules I have created before) it
doesn't notify me.

How can I change the setting so that it notifies me whichever folder the
email comes ?
