New Index page

I have created a "new" index page for our web. I renamed
it "index" and named the old one "index2". When I
published, the new Index comes up as the home page, but
when I start to navigate all the "up" buttons return to
the OLD index. Am I going to have to drag all the pages
underneath the new index page in navigation view or is
there an easier way. We're talking MANY MANY pages.

Do a search and replace for links that points to index2 and replace with
index.
