System is Windows XP, Office 2003, using a POP3 account.
Out of the blue a few days ago one of my clients started to not see new
messages in their Outlook mailbox that were sent to them. When doing a
send/receive you can see it say that its receiving x number of messages. The
messages are definitely hitting the pop3 account, i can access the account
via webmail access and see them there. Then when I run send/receive in
Outlook the messages vanish from the webmail inbox. I've uninstalled and
reinistalled Outlook, same issue, made a new mailbox for the messages to be
received in, no luck. There are no filters or rules turned on at all. The
folder size does not change after it tries to receive the messages. I have
no idea where they are going. Not a firewall issue, nobody else in the
office is having the problem. Computer is identical to 3 others there that
are working fine. I even tried setting up my own personal mail account on
the machine and it does the same thing! I'm stumped, have spent about 5
hours working on this and no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
