I've used Office for years, each time upgrading from the
original replacement for Word Perfect - which was the
original qualifying software. Now all I have is an Office
97 upgrade and the Office XP upgrade CDs. I bought a new
PC and tried to reinstall my XP, which I'd used on an
older PC for a number of years. I get a message that no
qualifying product can be found on the hard drive.
Does anyone know how I can get Microsoft to give me a
break here. I retired recently and after a new PC I can't
really afford a new Office package right now.
Thanks.
