New Task on Non-Working dates

Hi,

When we create a new Project Task or ToDo List Task from
Project Web Access, the task/ToDo list is getting spanning
over non- working days too of the resource. For Example :
If a new project Task created on a Friday by Team Member
is 3 days, the timesheet it shows Friday, Saturday &
Sunday working days for that task, rather than Friday,
Monday & Tuesday. Is it by design or any configuration
need be done to avoid it.

Also, if a resource completes a task before the schduled
time, can they notify the manger saying its complete, if
only % of Act work done updating option is set in the
timesheet ?

Any inputs welcome.
