So Share Point Designer is part of Office 2007 (regardless of the release).
Can we assume that FrontPage User can migrate to Share Point Designer...
easily (ha ha).

Hi JCO,

I'm guessing that MS Office Sharepoint Designer 2007 (targeted to MS Office sharepoint site support and development) and its sibling
MS Expression Web Designer
http://microsoft.com/presspass/features/2006/feb06/02-15Designer.mspx
are probably both interesting topics this week at the
Microsoft Mix-06 conference in Las Vegas.

I don't see where it says it will be "part of Office 2007 regardless of
release", can you clarify?

In general no, because SharePoint designer will be useless without a
SharePoint server. Currently you would need a fully licensed Windows
Server 2003 to be able to run SharePoint. It's an impractical setup for
many SME's because you can't run SharePoint and Frontpage extensions on
the same server (without hacking and host headers) and it's also not
compatible with Visual Studio 2005 (which requires Frontpage extensions
to be able to publish over HTTP which is what the web is all about).
