Newbie: CBO Properties Edit -> VBA

When I try to input Row Source code:
SELECT DISTINCT Customers.Country FROM Customers

A VBA window pops up whenever I type the space character
after SELECT

I'm pretty confident that Access itself has nothing to do with this
behavior. I've seen problems like this occur with faulty or sticky keyboards
and annoying viruses. Do you have any unexplained behavior in any other
applications?

Thank you for the response.

Yes, I have unexplained behavior in Outlook Express. It
invokes spell check whenever I type a space.

So, I downloaded Norton AntiVirus from symantec.com. A
full scan of all disks showed now virus. Then, I opened
Access to see if the problem was gone. The problem is
still there.

I think that means it is a virus that loads at boot time.
I will try to boot from the Windows CD and run a virus
scan again.
