As good reason to use a real newsreader like Outlook Express instead of the
flakey web interface.

Me thinks you need to check headers:
X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1409
is not the flakey web interface - it's the flakey real newsreader. :)
