Has anyone ever used an online postage service to pre-print the postage on a
Newsletter?

I've looked into using online postage, because I don't have a car, and
have a hard time getting to a post office when it's open.

I don't do newsletters, but sometimes mail large envelopes that
normally would have to be taken to a p.o. to be weighed first.

I signed up for the postage online (USPS site) and bought a postage
scale.

I'm not sure, but I got the idea it was only certain ways of mailing
you can do this way, mainly PRIORITY.

I haven't tried it yet, but tried printing out a sample mailing label
(postage) to see how it works. Looks like it prints out postage you then
clue on.

Do you know it will print on newsletters and you can set it up this
way?

Also, when I was looking into this, I noticed there are some sites (one
might be stamps.com) that charge you for this, like a monthly fee. If you
can get the same thing at the USPS site, it seemed to be free (except for
paying for the postage, going by the weight you put in)

If you can do newsletters by printing postage right on them, at home,
that sounds really good.
