.NK2 File - pls help

I followed the directions for copying over the file on the microsoft
website ("When prompted about replacing the existing file, click
Yes."). I also tried your suggestion but that is not the problem. And
as I mentioned before, the new names/email addresses that I used
yesterday in Outlook are saving to the correct file that I copied over.
But for some reason, the other hundreds of addresses in the same .NK2
file are not being recognized by my outlook - that is my problem.
Sorry if it was unclear before.

']Never overwrite any Outlook data file.
Immediately after a full reboot, rename the current default NK2 file.
The
copy your old NK2 file into the same directory and rename it to match
your
current profile.

I received a new work computer recently and today I copied over my
.NK2
file to my new computer and named it after my profile (over-writing
the
NK2 file that had been generated in the past couple of weeks of
Outlook
use). The file copied over but my old addresses are not being
suggested
in the autocomplete drop-down box. However, any addresses that I used
today are being saved in the correct .NK2 file - I have checked that
every time I close out of Outlook, this file is updated and has
gotten
larger since I have copied it over. I have no idea why only the new
names are being recognized by Outlook, even though the file is over
700KB in size. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The mail profile name and the .nk2 file name also must match.
