I am using FP 2002 and my site looks great in IE but my links do not work in
Netscape Navigator. Is there something special I should be doing or writing
in to get them to work?
Thanks,
Erin

NN does not like FP styles and absolute positioning. Also, did you use
MicroSoft Word to create any of the page?

Netscape is known for issues with several FP features:
absolute positioning, hover buttons, and marquees.
Hover buttons are just bad, and most people here will tell
you to find an alternative to this, usually DHTML. This can
give the exact same appearance as the hover buttons, and
they do not require Java. Java is no loner distributed with
Windows. I see you already familiar with saving text inside
of images, so I would create some gifs of the menu links and
then the 'mouseover' version of these and do a swap-image to
recreate the buttons

Surprisingly, NN can actually read my hover buttons but not my hyperlinks
where I have applied rollerover effects. Rather then redoing these
hyperlinks with gifs, is it possible to upload another site without these
effects and have NN use that particular site by writing code on the index
page? What would this code say if it's possible?
Thanks,
Erin

I will check out DHTML for the hover buttons, however. I do not like them
uploading as Applets. I do not like them Sam I am, sigh.

What is an alternative to absolute positioning? I am not that familiar with
FP, but have worked a lot with Publisher and just did the same thing I do
there. I did not create any pages in Word but I did some text changes there
and then cut and pasted into FP.
Thanks,
Erin

I saw all the massive amounts of non-web browser compatible extraneous code
generated by word...I have to suggest that is also choking NN.

It is kind of simple to do. Here is a sample page with
simple instructions:
