No info coming up in Publisher 2007 Help

Just purchased Publisher2007. When I press F1 for Help, another screen comes
up for Publisher Help but nothing listed below. Can enter in search field,
press go -- nothing comes up.

This appears for both Microsoft Online and Offline options.

What do I need to do

I tried to "repair" the setup files from the control panel/programs -- no
change. I than uninstalled and reinstalled Publisher -- no change. If I do
click on "Help" in Publisher, I am getting an error message "There is a
problem with one or more installed help files. Please repair your Office
Installation and try again."

Again, when I get the help screen up, I can see the left side with subjects
and can type in the search field, but it is blank on the right side and there
is no change in the screen when I hit search.

Any other suggestions?

Still trying. All updates on. Puzzled why answers not appearing on right
side.
No Norton plug in. Will be patient. Does this happen with otherOffice
installs?

Have you run Office Diagnostics?

I had tried the "Change" program but it does not go to that specific.
Everything showed Installed for Publisher, Office Tools, Office Shared -- but
nothing as to specific for "Help" feature.

Diagnostics have been run twice. Still nothing.
