Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I have been using Office 2008 Standard, and using the Mail Account to connect to Exchange for at least 6 months without trouble.
Today I logged on and was given a message:
_______
"You cannot use an Exchange account with Office 2008 Home and Student Edition
Entourage has detected an Exchange e-mail account on your computer. Existing items in an Exchange account are still available. However, you can no longer send or receive messages with this account or use any other Exchange server features.
To use an Exchange account with Entourage, upgrade to Office 2008 Standard."

Can anyone help me to get back to my Standard version??
Help will be very much appreciated...

Did you re-install? I¹m not sure what you did, but you need to remove the
Home & Student version and install the standard version.

Thanks Diane
I have no idea what happened either. Many of my permissions for different applications were re-set or deleted. I have never had Home and Student edition, so I was a bit at a loss to why it should do this.
In the end, I deleted the version, went back to my v2004, and re-built from upgrades and updates...
All fine now, and thanks..
