No send button in word

I want to be able to send my word as an email from the
word program. I open the email option from word but I
have no way to send the document since there is no "send"
button in order to send the document. I looked in the
help and on microsoft but unable to find the proper
answer. I created an account and try to test the email
option and still no "send" button. What do I need to do
to get the "send" button when I use the email option in
word?

What version of Word are you using? What version of Outlook are you using?
Do you have Outlook configured to send/receive e-mail and is that function
working properly in Outlook?

On a New Message (email), the "signature" button (ie, you
press it and a list of available signatures comes as a
drop down list) does not always show up. sometimes yes
and sometimes no.

how do you make this button permanent on the toolbar
which contains the "send" button and the "attachment"
button, etc. what is this toolbar called? it does not
seem to be checked under View-Toolbars, nor can you
customize this bar. neither does a "signature" icon show
up under commands under the View-Toolbar customization.

note that this is different from the signature section
under Tools-Options-Email Format-Signatures. this latter
one controls where you want one and only one signature
associated with a particular email account. i am
speaking about the "signature" button where you can
choose one of a variety of signatures for a particular
outgoing email regardless of account.

appreciate a detailed answer. tx and brgds.
