no slide view & notes at same time!!!?!?!

just got off the phone with microsoft support...i'm using macos X and latest
release of Office.

it seems *insane*, but apparently one cannot have slides presented on a
projector, and see the "presenter's notes" at the same time!! i'm really
hoping someone corrects me on this one.

note to microsoft: "presenter's notes" are only really useful when one is
_presenting_...

They realize that, I'm sure. Windows versions have the feature already.
Perhaps it'll arrive with PowerPoint 2004 for Mac too.

Look at my free SyncViews add-in at http://officeone.mvps.org/addins.html -
you can beam the slide show through the projector and keep the slides on
your other monitor in-sync with the projected one using this add-in. If the
slide view on the other monitor has the notes, then it should do the job.
