Non-standard page size

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool WordPerfect user, being forced to
use Word for the first time (version 2002 - and so far,
I'm not impressed). I have mastered much, albeit with
great reluctance. However, I frequently need to be able
to create documents on a number of non-standard sizes of
paper - not just your standard legal, letter, A4 and
envelope#10 sizes. In WordPerfect I could easily define
any paper size I wanted. For example, I could print
directly onto a 9"x12" envelope (no - I don't want to
create a label) and, yes, I do have a wide-carriage
printer. I could also print directly onto the inside of
small greeting cards of various sizes. How can I do that
in Word?

Go to File > Page setup and create the size you want.

Word is much easier to use if you accept it on its own terms. It's a
different beast from WP, and certainly a bitch to use if you try to make it
emulate WP.
