Will Norton 2004 interfer with uploading to server? If so, would actions need to be taken?

I have not had any problem with NAV 2004

In NIS you need to have it set to not block FP and recognize it as a friendly program

NIS is Norton Internet Securit
NAV is Norton Anti Viru
Since you have NAV you should not have a proble
If you have NIS then you need to follow Stefan's reply.
