I'm using Outlook Express. All server settings are
correct for sending/receiving mail. I can access my ISP
without any problems. But for the last 5 days or so, I
have not been able to access the POP3 server. I have
contacted my isp, and they said that the mail account is
active and that their servers are fine. I can even get to
it from another older computer. But with my new Dell with
Windows XP, it basically times out. Again, it's only been
doing it for the last 5 days or so. The ISP says my
computer is fine and can be accessed from the server, so
it must be Outlook Express that is the problem. Trouble
is, I can't find any info on how to fix it. There's no
way to uninstall and reinstall OE. I know that it is
linked with IE6, and I have gone to the download section
of microsoft and downloaded IE6, but all it seemed to do
was make sure that I was running the right version.
