Not all font samples visible in drop down box.

When using the font drop down box to change fonts most of
them are listed using the actual style as a sample.
Some, however (i.e. Baby Kruffy, Alba, etc.) are only
visible in a generic font until I actually select them.
I noticed the same problem on my aunt's computer so I
know I'm not alone. Any fixes out there?

After managing to set up OE-QuoteFix on his new PC, Ed reads a message

Try updating your Publisher with the updates from
http://office.microsoft.com/
Failing that, try updating your video driver.
