not sending/reciving HTML properly

I

IainM

Hi
I use (or did!) an html e-mail signature. This worked fine until I
re-instaled the computer. Now even though outlook is set to use word as it's
e-mail editor and outlook is set to use HTML the signature is just displayed
as plain text. When you view the source of a test e-mail all of the html
code is there but it is different to the source of mail sent prior to
re-install.

This is the start of the source from a previously sent e-mail:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>

<META content="MSHTML 6.00.2600.0" name=GENERATOR>
<STYLE></STYLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY bgColor=#ffffff>
<DIV><SPAN class=814513011-20062003><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi
Dene,</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

And this is how it is appearing now:

<html xmlns:eek:="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice"
xmlns:w="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:word"
xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40">

.......Which is quite different!!

I have a feeling that I've got something in word set up incorectly but just
can't find it.

Any help gratefully recieved!!!

Cheers now
Iain M.

PS sorry for cross posting but I'm not sure whether it's word or outlook
that is playing up!! I think that it is word.
