Not sizing correctly (picture)

I am trying to use publisher to print some pictures for a keyring fob.
The size needs to be 3.8 x 4.0 cms. I used format picture/size and set this
at 3.8 x 4.0 cms but when printed it comes out at 3.3 x 3.6cms (approx)

How can I get the exact size to print?

if you are using the 2007 version check under format pictures size -
uncheck the lock aspect ratio.

Hello SS, I am having the same issue. I resize an image to the exact
dimensions I want (1.25 x 1.75), but seconds later when I go back to confirm
the dimensions they are different (1.33 x 1.61). Did you find an answer?

Try this...

Right click the picture...choose...Format Picture / Size tab...

Uncheck...Lock Aspect Ratio...

Enter the appropriate dimensions in the Height and Width fields.

Click...OK.
