Notes

I am a new user to Outlook. I like the Outlook Today page that summarizes my activities for the day. My question is about the messages section. If I can customize the Messages section to list the folder "Notes", why does Notes not show me how many notes are in it? It always reads 0

Why?

The numbers after the folder names represent unread items in the folder.
You probably don't have any unread notes :)

Dear Jocelyn,

I am having the same problem, but I have unread notes (I think!).

We use Outlook 2000 on various pcs linked to a Windows NT server. Some desktops run on NT, others run on 2000. When I create a new note on my pc it doesn't show on my Outlook Today, but it doesn't show on any other pc's Outlook Today either. I have also tried writing a note on someone elses pc and seeing if it shows up on mine, but that doesn't work. I have tried restarting Outlook but still nothing. What's going on here? Any suggestions would be gratefully received as we find this a very handy function.

Thanks!
