Notifier???

I'm using the Office 2003 Beta, and here is my question. Is there a utility
that I can add to my Startup folder (winxp) that will check my mailbox for
new messages without my having to start up Outlook? I'm looking for
something within the Office Suite first, but I'm not opposed to 3rd party
applications.
