NT authority and outlock

I just received a call from a frient. Her outlook is
giving her the message " NT authority is shouting down in
60 seconds". She could be in the middle of typing an email
and the system will shout down and restart her PC.

How can we fix it

That sounds like the message you receive when you have
been infected with the blaster worm virus. Just a
thought, there's a good fix it tool on the Symantec
website.

and if the user is running windows xp. immediately open a command prompt
(start | run | type: cmd | ok button) and type: shutdown -a. this will
abort the shutdown and give said user time to get to Symantec
