CREATE A NEW NUMBER FORMAT SO THAT THE SELECTED DATES WILL APPEAR ONLY AS THE
FULL NAME OF THE DAYS OF THE WEEK.

Hi

please don't use all caps when writing messages - it is considered shouting
in these groups and makes things harder to read.

If you choose format / cells - number tab & click on the custom type
you can enter
dddd
into the type field which will cause the dates to appear as the day of the
week only.

Go to format, cell, under the number tab - choose custom from the list and
then type dddd - that will show you the full name of the day of the week
