Hi
Can the number of characters per line be set to 50 in
Outlook. I can't find any reference to line length in
help.

TIA

I assume you're talking about plain text messages...in Outlook 2002 you
can change this in Tools | Options | Mail Format tab | Internet Format
button.

Thank you for your reply.
I wasn't aware that my windows XP outlook was set to HTML
format. Can I set the wordwrap to achieve shorter lines
of text in the HTML format.

I don't think so. Is there an issue you're having with longer lines?

Not an issue as such.
Just thought I would wordwrap to keep lines shorter and
neater i.e. a little wider than newspaper columns.

Thankyou for your replys
