Numbers h.u.g.e in a user-defined chart set as standard

I've made adjustments to a chart and would like to use it as the standard
graph that comes up. The graph is ok, but the numbers go from 12 or 14p to
around 30. ??

I'm on XP, 2003.

While in chart edit mode go to Format>Font then select
the size of your font.

I might not have explained my problem well eoungh. Sorry about that. I want
to change the standard graph that appears (eg not 3D, 12 p text). I do that,
and all is well until I import a new chart - then the numbers have all of
sudden grown humongus.

Try going to Tools/Options in PPT and turn off "charts take on PPT font" or
whatever that similar-sounding setting is.
